Murillo to stay at the hotel inside Vatican City so that he could speak with them individually, and ask for forgiveness. Scicluna produced a 2,300-page report, which prompted the pope to summon the bishops to Rome for a meeting this month.

Inside, the all-new MINI Countryman is claimed to be the most spacious MINI yet, extending 20 centimetres longer and 3 centimetres wider than its predecessor. The controller on the middle console provides easy operation of multimedia, phone and auto functions. The increased space gives the passengers more front and rear legroom, front and rear headroom and rear seat shoulder-room than before, which is much more than what its segment competitors have on offer.

The Countryman can be had with two powertrain options. The petrol variant will be powering the Cooper S and the Cooper S JCW which is a 2.0-litre TwinPower turbo unit which churns out 192bhp and 280Nm of torque. The automatic tailgate allows a driver to wave their foot under the boot to open it. It sprints to 100 km/hr in 7.5 seconds and the top speed is 225 km/hr.

On the other hand, the Cooper SD is equipped with the 4-cylinder diesel, capable of generating maximum power of 190 bhp same as the petrol trim with the peak torque of 400 Nm. All three engines come with automatic Steptronic Transmission and the John Cooper Works-inspired model gets a sports set-up. Further, the vehicle can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph 7.7 seconds and the top speed is 220 kmph. The hatch also gets Mini driving modes: MID, Sport and Green.

The vehicle comes packed with safety features, including anti-lock breaking system (ABS), driver and passenger airbags, cornering brake control and run flat tyres.
