Police say a man was trying to get an autograph from Cardi B after the party at around 2:15 a.m. outside the Mark Hotel on East 77th Street.
Before the altercation, Cardi B attended the Met Gala, the annual fundraising fete in NY that brings out Hollywood's elite for an evening of fashion and charity and to celebrate the spring exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute - this year, "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination".
The "Bartier Cardi" rapper hinted at the sex of her baby while chatting with ET's Keltie Knight at the 2018 Met Gala in New York City on Monday.
"Oh c'mon, don't be like that mama". Cardi declines, but the man asks again, saying, "I'm an autograph hound".
Talking about the boxing match her bub is having with Cardi's rib cage, she said: 'Oh, she wants to fight me!
Cardi B's crew intervened - and allegedly pushed the victim to the ground and punched him, cops said. In a video obtained by TMZ, a crowd surrounds the Cardi B fan as he lays on the ground, punching and stomping on him.
