Oliver Townend does stay in first place with 28 penalties (including 7,2 extra points for time in the cross country today), but New-Zealand's Jonelle Price and Classic Moet (Classic XX) climbed to the first place as well today after an nearly flawless cross country.
Price, part of the bronze medal-winning team at the London Olympics in 2012, jumped from 22nd to the top of the leaderboard after a cross country effort.
Price and her horse incurred just 0.4 penalty points in the cross-country, a near ideal score, to jump from 22nd place to second.
Price, of New Zealand, was only one second over time and Townend could see his dressage lead being eroded on a tiring Ballaghmor...
Just five of the 53 combinations in the showjumping were clear and inside time. Mark Todd, who was the oldest rider in the field at 62, was sixth on Kiltubrid Rhapsody. Caroline Powell was 29th and 31st with On the Brash and Up Up and Away, with Dan Jocelyn aboard Dassett Cool Touch 37th and Virginia Thompson and Star Nouveau 40th. Andy Daines and Spring Panorama were eliminated late in the course.

Israel's Netta Barzilai advances to Eurovision 2018 finals
Last year's Eurovision victor has criticised one of the frontrunners for this year's contest as "horrible", in an outspoken interview.
"Classic Moet is a good jumper, she tries, but is a bit unorthodox in her style, it doesn't come easy to her - just like everything else she does, she tries her heart out".
"She's some mare, so un-special that she's special, and she makes me look good".
Two time Olympian Price, who had her first child previous year, admitted she had begun to wonder if she was ever going to lay claim to a 4*. "Honestly, just because we're all so competitive I'm very disappointed about having the one rail, but she's got two Badmintons under her belt, finishing in the top 20, so you've got to take that". They had to take the long option at the lake but quickly made up the time.
"I had been up on the clock until then and we were then 12-15 seconds down, so as soon as we were through the Shogun Hollow, I thought "let's go".
"He has the most unbelievable mind and he allows me to ride him in a way that creates a lovely picture for people to look at", she said.
