WorldStage Newsonline- The African Union (AU) on Thursday expressed deep concern over the United States' withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, saying it would heighten tensions in the region. He said he does not trust European countries either, and if there's no guarantee of Iran's interests, the deal can not continue.

He said it is important that Iran and the other parties continue to enforce the agreement.

Emma Ashford, a research fellow with the Cato Institute, a think tank in Washington, said in an analysis on Tuesday that by leaving the nuclear deal without offering any clear strategy or plan for an alternative, "Trump is opening Pandora's box, increasing the risks of escalation and bringing us gradually closer to conflict with Iran".
