Israel reportedly launches airstrikes in Syria immediately after Trump withdraws from Iran deal
Calling the U.S. withdrawal from the landmark pact "unacceptable", the Iranian leader said that the deal will remain in place if Tehran achieves the deal's goals in cooperation with other members of the historic agreement.
The UK, France and Germany say they "will work with all remaining parties" and urged the USA not to obstruct its implementation.
Under the agreement with the US, France, Germany, Britain, Russia and China, Iran strictly limited uranium enrichment capacity to try to show that it was not trying to develop atomic bombs.
"Our governments remain committed to ensuring the agreement is upheld, and will work with all the remaining parties to the deal to ensure this remains the case", the UK, France and Germany said in a joint statement.
The JCPOA - reached by Iran, China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, the usa and the European Union - sets out rigorous mechanisms for monitoring restrictions placed on Iran's nuclear programme, while paving the way for the lifting UN sanctions against the country.
But Iran's Revolutionary Guards commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari cast doubt on the Europeans' ability to act independently of the U.S. to save the deal.
Members of parliament burnt an American flag and a symbolic copy of the Iran deal, known officially as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as a session of parliament began.
Why did the U.S. withdraw?
But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the USA president's decision as "a historic move". "We support this deal with Iran - with reservations", Senator Wong told reporters in Canberra.
He said he would reimpose economic sanctions that were waived when the deal was signed in 2015.
When will the sanctions restart?
According to the US Treasury, sanctions related to Iran's energy, auto and financial sectors will be reimposed in three and six months.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to pull out of the deal, which he has described as "insane".
He has put United States diplomacy on a collision course with some of Washington's closest allies. The U.S. leader's political opponents said it risks dragging America into a Middle East war.
What reaction has there been worldwide?
The Russian foreign ministry said it was "deeply disappointed" by Mr Trump's decision. "We felt like we were going through the motions", said a person close to the negotiations. He called the deal, which was signed in 2015 during former President Barack Obama's tenure, "decaying and rotten".
"Walking away from the JCPOA turns our back on America's closest allies, and an agreement that our country's leading diplomats, scientists, and intelligence professionals negotiated", he said.
Trump announced Tuesday that Washington will pull out of the landmark nuclear accord with Iran.
"Israel fully supports President Trump's bold decision today to reject the disastrous nuclear deal", Netanyahu said, in a televised address.
Iran also agreed to modify a heavy water facility so it could not produce plutonium suitable for a bomb.
The "disastrous" deal gave Iran millions in cash and did not prevent it from acquiring nuclear weapons, he added.
The 2015 agreement was made by Iran and the U.S., the UK, Russia, France, China, Germany and the European Union to ensure Iran's nuclear programme was "exclusively peaceful".
