Lenovo Announces Moto Z3 Play Will Launch June 6

A report claimed that the smartphone was to be launched on 21st of May.

According to a promotional mail sent by the firm to those who have registered for their newsletters, Motorola reconfirms the launch date and says that both smartphones will be arriving in two different e-commerce websites. Motorola has started sending out press invites for a June 6th launch event in Brazil.

While the teaser doesn't give away any details about the device, it isn't rocket science to predict what smartphone will launch. While the Moto G6 Play will be available from Flipkart, Moto G6 can be purchased from Amazon India. So far in 2018, the company has not launched an iteration of its highly popular Moto Z series. There are several reasons to believe that the Moto Z3 Play will be unveiled at the launch event.

RAM is reported to be 4GB with 32GB and 64GB storage variants. Also, the Moto Z3 Play will retain its 3000mAh battery. Storage will be expandable thanks to a MicroSD card slot.

Powering the Z3 Play will be a 3000 mAh battery which might not be sufficient for a 6 inch AMOLED panel with FullHD+ resolution. The fingerprint reader usually found below the screen has seemingly been moved to the side of the phone, and on the back you'll find dual rear cameras coming in at 12 and 8 megapixels, while the front-facing shooter will be just 5 MP.
