MoviePass Brings Back Their Movie a Day Plan

MoviePass Brings Back Their Movie a Day Plan

Now MoviePass is bringing back their unlimited plan that lets you see a movie every day for just $9.95. However, those subscribers could only see four movies each month.

However, MoviePass - which loses money on the ticket transactions of its most enthusiastic users - will uphold a second April addition to its service agreement: No member can use their subscription for repeat viewings of the same film, as many would have wanted to do for "Avengers: Infinity War" and upcoming "Deadpool 2". But now, because they can change their mind on a day to day basis, as all real businesses do, MoviePass is now a movie a day for the same great price ($9.95/mo.), again.

MoviePass $9 unlimited movies: Worth signing up? The service, which launched in 2010, lowered its price in August 2017 to the current $9.95 plan. Subscribers activate their MoviePass card using a mobile app and then can select movies to see using the app on their phone. "We recently made some updates to our Terms of Service, including the policy that MoviePass subscribers are only permitted to see any movie in the theaters once with their MoviePass". "We hope this will encourage you to see new movies and enjoy something different!"

MoviePass' business model has remained in question since the company became popular last fall.
