Questlove partners with Prince estate for fall orchestral tour

LOCAL ‘4U A Symphonic Celebration of Prince’ coming to St. Louis Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. and range from $35 to $125

The Prince estate has formed a partnership with The Roots drummer Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson to curate an orchestral tour entitled, "4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince".

Tickets will be available beginning Friday, May 18 at 10:00am.

Tickets are $35-$125 at, 314-534-1111 and at the box office. Prices, shows, artists, dates and times are subject to change at any time without notice.

The concert is a creation of Live Nation Urban and TCG Entertainment.

Questlove has always been a huge Prince fan in addition to a walking musical encyclopedia, and now he's partnering with the late musical icon's estate to put together an orchestral tour of the Purple One's music. Questlove will not be among those fantastic musicians, but he helped curate the thing, so that's something. The Richmond show is part of an extensive 2018 tour with shows in both the United States and Europe.

It's been more than two years since Prince left this plane of existence, but his spirit and his music live on.
