Royals hit 3 homers as offense powers 10-6 win over Tigers

Jorge Soler delivered a two-run single with two outs in the eighth inning on Friday, leading the Royals to a come-from-behind 4-2 victory over the visiting Tigers.

For once, the Royals manager had plenty of reasons to praise his offense.

Lucas Duda had three hits and drove in four, the Royals pounded a trio of homers and Kansas City beat the Detroit Tigers 10-6 on Thursday to open their four-game series. Detroit is putting up 4.50 runs per game on the season, but allowing 4.70 per game.

Detroit put runners on the corners with two out in the fourth.
