Sylvester Stallone set to take on Mexican cartel in Rambo 5- a decade after last film

The lucrative Rambo franchise launched in 1982 with First Blood and a fifth installment has been mooted for some time, despite the actor previously expressing reservations about a return. There were also plans for a proposed Rambo: New Blood TV series at FOX that were also abandoned. It was subsequently removed three continuation - in 1985, 1988 and 2008. According to the outlet, Rambo 5 is officially underway, with Stallone is lined up to reprise his role as Vietnam veteran John Rambo.

According to Screen International, Stallone is slated to star and possibly direct Rambo 5, even though the film has not been confirmed by the actor-filmmaker's representatives.

Madrid not concerned by Ronaldo injury
They played well and so did we. "We should have had a bit more patience, but we did not lose, and we must congratulate Barcelona". Ronaldo didn't net in either leg of the semi-final against Bayern Munich as Madrid scraped through to the showpiece in Ukraine.

The new film finds John Rambo coping with intense PTSD while living on a ranch in Arizona, trying to pick up casual work wherever he can. The deeply troubled Rambo finds a new sense of objective after his longtime family friend and estate manager Maria learns that her granddaughter has gone missing in Mexico; together, the two cross the border to find her. Obviously, Stallone struggled to recapture the popularity of Rambo - after his peak in First Blood Part II - with the third and fourth Rambo films, so Rambo 5 is no doubt a huge risk.
