Here's our review of Naa Peru Surya - We have all seen Allu Arjun on screen countless times but this time it's different. What is noteworthy here is Allu Surya has managed to do so with a debutant Director. The theatrical versions for Tamil and Malayalam (including dubbing) have been sold for Rs 58.5 crore in Telugu speaking states and Rs 75 crore worldwide. Sources in the trade believe that the film could easily breach into Rs 100 crore club in its opening weekend. The story has recieved mixed reviews but Allu Arjun has been highly appreciated for his performance. Kudos to his drastic transformation as a military officer. One can tell that strenuous prep has gone into achieving the look. The military officer with temperament issues - There is something raw, transparent and honest in the performance. The film marked directorial debut of the Writer Vamsi who has written films like Kick, Temper and Race Gurram.
