Potholes are causing massive pizza disruption problems in the USA so Domino's has decided to do something about

According to the press release, "Domino's has already worked alongside four municipalities to help fix roads that directly affect their customers, including Bartonville, Texas; Milford, Delaware; Athens, Georgia and Burbank, California". "We can't stand by and let your cheese slide to one side, your toppings get un-topped, or your boxes get flipped".

Through the program, Domino's has already helped improve roads in Bartonville, Texas; Milford, Del.; Athens, Ga., and Burbank, Calif. "Facing an already harsher winter than usual for DE, this is an opportunity to get additional money to stretch our city's limited resources", said Eric Norenberg, city manager of Milford, where Paving for Pizza filled 40 potholes over 10 hours. Domino's has created an interactive experience showing what happens when the delivery driver goes over a pot hole, and it's as bad as you would imagine.

The company said it wants to save car-transported pizzas by awarding money to fix problematic roads. It brands the fixed potholes with a Domino's logo and the tagline "Oh yes we did".

Bartonville town administrator Michael Montgomery praised the company's input. In Milford, DE, a four-man road-crew filled 40 potholes over the course of a day's work.

The good publicity will be a welcome change for Domino's following an incident last month in Tennessee.

A "third-party organization" will vet ZIP codes based on their popularity and the municipalities' receptiveness to the program, she said.
