Liverpool have already completed the signing of midfielder Fabinho from Monaco and have Naby Keita arriving from RB Leipzig but there attempt to bring in Nabil Fekir from Lyon broke down earlier this month.

"I spoke with Fekir the day after the night when we made a decision to stop negotiations with Liverpool".

Liverpool though, are one club that seem to be taking their chances in pursuit of Asensio as they look to bolster their attack this summer.

It had been reported Fekir would be joining Liverpool shortly after their Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid, with both parties eager to get a deal done before the player went with France to the World Cup.

"I had an exchange with him the day after we chose to stop the negotiation with Liverpool".

Nailah misses out on BET award
So it's no surprise that Jamie Foxx , host of Sunday night's BET Awards , is just as obsessed with the song as the rest of us. At the 2018 BET Awards , she chose to tone things down, opting for a midi-length dress with a flattering sweetheart neckline.

Denmark require just a point to join France in the knockout stages, and could even pip Les Bleus to top spot with a victory. Croatia has no pressure in its match against Iceland , which must win its final Group D game in Rostov-on-Don to advance.

"I had said before that we don't need to sell".

The Lyon chief assures that he would like to keep hold of Fekir, who's spent five seasons with the club, playing 148 games and scoring 55 goals.

Nevertheless, whether operating in a more withdrawn role, as a forward or from out wide, Fekir is gifted and intelligent enough to have an impact. The Reds have, thus far, been predominantly linked with a move for Nabil Fekir, although a few complications have arisen in their bid to sign the Frenchman of late.

In the last week, there have been a number of interviews conducted by Lyon's infamous president Jean-Michel Aulas and after the most recent one, I'm beginning to think that it's part of a ploy to raise the asking price for Nabil Fekir. It's why, if a transfer can be revived, you'd expect Fekir to seize the chance of a fresh challenge elsewhere.
