Square Enix’s E3 showcase was a bust

The hyped presentation did have plenty to share on a new Tomb Raider title, to which they devoted about seven minutes of their half-hour presser. However, when it was all said and done, Square Enix had very little to offer.

We'll be seeing a lot of the games in the flesh over the next couple of days, so we'll be able to talk about them in more detail then. The game will be available September 4, 2018 for PS4 and PC worldwide.

Square Enix's other new game was called The Quiet Man and is also only listed for PlayStation 4 and PC.

More information was promised in August, which perhaps means Gamescom. Platinum Games is best known for games such as Vanquish, NieR: Automata, and the upcoming Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link.
