Blessing has since been charged with 1st degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of kidnapping.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says deputies were sent to a home in Fountain Hills, Ariz., around 10 a.m. Monday for a report of unknown trouble.

A 92-year-old woman shot her son to death after she took exception to his plan to move her into an Arizona retirement home, authorities said Tuesday.

She armed herself with two pistols which she concealed in the pockets of her robe before confronting her son in his bedroom.

Her son's girlfriend was also in the room, police said.

She allegedly produced the second gun and tried to fire that, only for her late son's girlfriend to incercept her before she could. "The girlfriend contacted MCSO who responded and ultimately took Blessing into custody", stated officials. As she was placed under arrest, she reportedly commented: "You took my life, so I'm taking yours".

And just like the team that went to the quarterfinals at the World Cup four years ago, Los Cafeteros are known for their dancing. Japan beat out Senegal for the second spot despite its 1-0 loss because it accumulated four yellow cards to Senegal's six.

Anna Mae Blessing told investigators that she shot her 72-year-old son at a condo just west of the Fountain Park.

Blessing also told police that she had also meant to kill herself, according to court document.

Her son's name was not released by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in the press release about Blessing's arrest.

The sheriff's office said they are investigating the case as a domestic violence homicide. The younger woman managed to wrestle that one away from her too and threw it away in the direction of the first pistol, according to the court document.

Blessing remains in jail, held on a $500,000 cash bond.

The son, who has not been named, was later found with a gunshot wound to the neck and jaw and pronounced dead at the scene. She will appear in court for a preliminary hearing on 13 July.
