Singer Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital just before noon on Tuesday, TMZ reports.

Jeff Lee, spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, said the emergency was in the 8000 block of Laurel View Drive in the Laurel Canyon area.

After relapsing, she continued to be honest with her fan base and so, in June, she released Sober, in an attempt to educate people on how it is a constant battle.

The former Disney Channel actress' struggles with addiction, bipolar disorder and other issues were recounted previous year in a YouTube documentary titled "Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated".

She tweeted and pinned the song to her feed last month. The source also adds that the singer is "stable".

Demi Lovato's famous friends are rallying around the singer in light of news about her hospitalization. "I wanna be a role model but I'm only human".

"Praying for you, @ddlovato - you stood by us with your advocacy for the mental health and substance abuse communities. know that we stand by you too. all my love".

Celebrity pals like Ariana Grande and Brad Paisley offered well wishes on Twitter, with Grande simply writing, "I love u ddlovato". The news was followed by the cancellation of tonight's episode of the Fox game show "Beat Shazam", which featured an appearance by Lovato.

She started again with a few lines before exclaiming "f**k, I forgot the words". She went on to become a multi-platinum pop star, launching Top 10 hits like "Sorry Not Sorry", "Skyscraper", "Heart Attack".

"So sorry to hear about Demi Lovato being hospitalized".

Recalling how she would lie to her management and manipulate situations in order to get drugs, Demi revealed: "I wasn't ready to get sober".
