Kylie Jenner poised to become youngest billionaire ever

Today, the financial magazine Forbes estimates that she is worth $900m, making her not just the richest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan (Kim Kardashian West is believed to be worth around $350m), but on course to become the youngest self-made billionaire ever.

She has a handful of full time employees, a factory in China and her marketing and finances are managed by the Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner.

As people debate Forbes' decision to put Kylie Jenner on a list of "self-made" billionaires, Dictionary.com is wading into the discourse.

Nonetheless, according to Forbes Magazine, Kylie Jenner's cosmetics line, Kylie Cosmetics, has sold approximately $630 million worth of makeup ever since its launch in 2016.

"Social media is an unbelievable platform", Jenner told the outlet about her brand strategy.

Forbes reports that Jenner is now the 27th richest self-made woman in the United States, beating out the rest of her famous family (her older sister Kim Kardashian is worth an estimated $350 million).

As RadarOnline.com readers know, the gorgeous 21-year-old influencer has gained fame-and cash-from her wildly popular Kylie Cosmetics brand, as well as from her Instagram style and short-lived reality show.

Having made headlines as a teenager for using lip implants, Kylie Cosmetics' first product was a "lip kit", which combined a lipstick and lip liner.

Before the company started three years ago, Kylie used some $250,000 of her earnings from modeling gigs to pay an outside company to produce the first 15,000 lip kits but quickly realized she wanted to do it on her own.

"Maybe one day [I'll] pass this on to Stormi", she exclaims. Despite the success of her latest venture, makeup brand KKW Beauty, the company has only grossed about $100 million in revenue since its launch in 2017.
