"The forest green was a subtle nod to Ireland but it would be nice to see her adopt an Irish designer into her fashion roster over the course of her two-day stay".

The Duchess stepped out in an Emilia Wickstead dress during her first official global trip, proving there's no drama with the British designer despite a rumoured controversy.

She took the royal salute at the ceremony as the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex watched nearby.

"It's clearly a style that she feels comfortable with, which is so important when you're stepping out in front of the cameras". She teamed it with a crisp white T-shirt which featured a casual crew-neckline and chic black high heel stiletto shoes. I like that she's still given such a classic look a contemporary twist, by wearing the bun to the side, rather than in the middle of her head.

Well-connected Meghan has a close bond with the French designer and, as well as choosing his glamorous designs for red carpet appearances, Meghan has given him a string of social media shout-outs.
