Samsung Galaxy Note 9 price leak points to high cost once again

We posted recently that for the first time the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will support Dex Mode ( a desktop PC experience designed for mouse and keyboard when connected to a big screen) without being placed in a dock with active fan cooling. In the U.S., the Note 8 had launched for $929 which is approximately same as the new leaked price.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 is still a few weeks away, but we might already know how much it costs. The mysterious Twitter user has announced that the Note 9 will bring "new icons and some new interactions". The company has showcased teaser videos for the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 smartphone, highlighting improved performances in terms of battery, storage capacity, and speed. The phone is expected to be available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage model.

According to the poster, Indonesian customers have the option to receive a free 32-inch or 40-inch Samsung smart TV with their purchase. Notably, the images do not reveal anything about the specifications of the Galaxy Note 9 variants.

If this Note 9 price leak is accurate, it means the handset will be more expensive than its predecessor, as the Galaxy Note 8 launched in Indonesia at 12,999,999 Rupiahs. Still it's good to see that the Note 9 won't necessarily come with the same high mark up as other premium-tier devices, especially since Samsung reportedly had a bit of trouble trying to get people to upgrade to the S9 earlier this year. Galaxy Note 8 with 64GB which had launched in India for Rs 67,900 is now available for Rs 55,000 approximately. The image suggests that the new stylus will be a bit more angular compared to its previous variant. The body of the S Pen is gold but the top's color is matched with the frame.
