SC’s Trey Gowdy says Trump aides should consider quitting over Russian Federation performance

Trump invites Putin to Washington despite U.S. uproar on Helsinki summit

Contradicting both his own intelligence agencies and a verbatim statement made by Russian President Vladimir Putin last week, Trump claimed on Tuesday that Russia will "be pushing hard for the Democrats" in the upcoming election, and that "They definitely don't want Trump".

Mr Trump again repeated the phrase that "no President has been tougher on Russian Federation than [me]", and that "they [Russia] definitely don't want Trump!" "We may not know exactly why Trump is so weak in the face of Putin's manipulations, but it's clear that they should not be in a room alone together".

The US intelligence community has concluded that Russian Federation interfered in the 2016 presidential election and that the effort was specifically aimed at helping Trump win.

The poll was administered as Trump faced blowback for performance at a Helsinki summit with Putin, including last week's widely criticized press conference alongside the Russian leader.

Ryan and McConnell rejected the idea of Putin being asked to address a joint session of Congress, typically considered an honor for visiting foreign leaders. "They better not do it again".

Temperatures to rise even higher this week, says Met Office
Instead of 23C (73.4F) which could usually be expected in London in July, temperatures could tip 34C (93.2F). The temperatures today beat the 33C (91.4F) recorded in Porthmadog in Wales on 28 June.

Google stock up 5 percent after pulverizing earnings expectations
But it's important to remember that simply paying the fine - if Google loses its appeal - doesn't make the problem go away. Similarly, analysts don't expect European Union antitrust probes to force changes that significantly dent Google earnings.

'When we win I'm German, when we lose I'm an immigrant' - Ozil
The German midfielder, who announced his global retirement this week, had a big grin on his face as he was put through his paces by the Gunners coaching staff.

The Kremlin's failure to swiftly accept Mr Trump's invitation for a Washington summit has been noticeable. Putin acknowledged at the news conference he wanted Trump to win the election against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton but has denied election meddling.

One MSNBC contributor called Trump's tweet a "bizarre message created to muddle the indelible image of servitude to Vladimir Putin".

"My admittedly awkward response was in no way meant to be disrespectful or criticise the actions of the President", he said on Saturday. The president also said that while he has "great confidence in my intelligence people", he believed Putin "was extremely strong and powerful in his denial" of Russian interference.

In the same paragraph, however, Reuters noted that Putin denied any Russian meddling in the U.S. elections, illustrating the freakish dichotomy of Putin's words suddenly being treated as gospel truth when they seem to agree with the USA intelligence narrative, but being treated as worthless otherwise. The White House said on Monday Trump was looking at revoking the security clearances of Brennan and five other former officials who have been critical of the president. But what I think matters is the message.
