But a source with knowledge of the case has claimed the court filing by the 43-year-old "Maleficent" actress was done in order to get their marriage "dissolved" quickly.

"The aim of Angelina's routine court filing is to promote closure to the marriage in a way that clears a path toward the next stage of their lives and allows her and Brad to recommit as devoted co-parents to their children", Mindy Nyby, spokesperson for Angelina Jolie told Access. A source familiar with the matter, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said that "Brad is someone who fulfills his commitments".

According to a new report from NBC News, Jolie will seek a court order to force Pitt to pay.

Sources close to Pitt told Page Six that Jolie made the court filing as part of a smear campaign to tarnish her estranged husband's reputation after he chose to re-start the formal divorce process.

The documents did not clarify how much is considered "meaningful child support".

The site also reports that Jolie's lawyer claims that Pitt hasn't paid "meaningful child support" since the two separated nearly two years ago.

Kroenke now owns 67% of the club's shares and his offer is to buy the 30% of shares owned by minority stakeholder Alisher Usmanov. Kroenke, who - like Usmanov - first started amassing shares in Arsenal in 2007, succeeded in gaining full control in 2011.

The document also said that Pitt had "paid no meaningful child support since separation" and said that although informal arrangements had been made with him, payments "had not been regularly sustained". As of present, Respondent has paid no meaningful child support since separation.

The drama in the long-running divorce case of former Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt has hit a new level.

"[Pitt] has a duty to pay child support".

Now Pitt pals are fuming to Page Six that the "Seven" star has in fact been forking over hundreds of thousands a month - and that Jolie is just trying to smear her ex by claiming he's a "deadbeat dad".

The order outlined a shared custody schedule for the summer in which the children would split their time between Los Angeles and London, with Jolie maintaining primary physical custody.

The September 2016 split quickly turned nasty, with the Federal Bureau of Investigation being called in to investigate claims that Pitt hit their eldest child, Maddox, during an argument on a plane.
