‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ Movie Stopped In Its Tracks By Universal

If you were looking forward to the Chris Pratt starring adaptation of Cowboy Ninja Viking then you're going to have to wait a lot longer than you thought.an indefinite amount of time longer. He already has Jurassic World with Universal, which released Fallen Kingdom this summer to huge box office numbers. This meant shooting would need to start soon. In question is Baywatch and Quantico star Priyanka Chopra who was revealed to be in talks to join Pratt in the film last week, however, Chopra's schedule will have to realign with the project's schedule should the studio want her on board. This new release date will serve to accommodate the production schedule that is in place.

Pratt remains attached to play Duncan, a multifaceted assassin with the ability to manifest the deadliest attributes of three distinct personas: a cowboy, a ninja, and a viking. The movie will be action heavy, while still aiming for a PG-13 rating. The film will be directed by Michelle Maclaren, who has also helmed a few episodes of hit HBO series, Game of Thrones. Craig Mazin wrote the draft with Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

Chris Pratt isn't having much luck lately.

Twitter CEO: Alex Jones 'hasn’t violated our rules'
InfoWars is notorious for spreading demonstrably false information and conspiracy theories on a host of issues. A number of platforms have reached a different conclusion, as the crackdown on Jones intensified this week .

Universal Pictures has kicked the cowboy to the curb, nixed the ninja, and is no longer vouching for the viking.

James Gunn was sacked over a serious of abhorrent tweets, and though Pratt and his cast mates have lobbied Disney to hire their boss back, it doesn't look likely. Perhaps things behind the scenes of Cowboy Ninja Viking have just been far more complicated than any of us laymen ever realized. But turns out that will have to wait because the movie has been delayed indefinitely.
