Motorola is adopting 5G connectivity a little earlier than its competitors and has also introduced a Moto Mod that will make this ultra-fast connectivity possible. Under the hood of the smartphone runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. It features dual rear cameras, a combination of 12MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 12MP monochrome lens. The Moto Z3 lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack and it's armed with a 3000mAh battery. Verizon, Motorola's partner with the Moto Z3 and this Mod, is launching 5G service in four markets later this year, but that's residential broadband and not mobile. Here we are just over a couple of months later and the Moto Z3 and the Moto 5G Moto Mod are now official. Interestingly, alongside the smartphone, Motorola has also launched a 5G Moto Mod, this makes the Moto Z3 the first-ever smartphone to come with 5G support.

Motorola has also brought the 5G Moto Mod that is created to deliver a next-generation experience on the Moto Z3.

Motorola launched the Moto Z3 at a list price of $480, which translates to Rs. 33,000 approximately.

Exclusive to Verizon, this phone will get you a discount on a Moto Mod. The next-generation wireless technology, promising significantly higher speed and responsiveness, is seen as a potential catalyst for a wave of innovation in tech, powering everything from self-driving cars to telemedicine and streaming VR. The phone also comes with a dual LED flash for better picture capture in low-light situations.

The smartphone will be running Android 8.1 Oreo right off the bat, and it will be getting updated to Android P down the line. On the front side, there's an 8MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture. It's equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon X50 modem to help the Moto Z3 get on Verizon's 5G network when that goes live starting in 2019. The phone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery, and it comes with support for TurboPower charging, claimed to offer half a day's power in half an hour. Motorola hasn't officially confirmed availability of the flagship smartphone in India yet.

These questions will likely surface as the 5G Moto Mod's release nears.

Moto Z3 comes in one colour of "ceramic black". Alongside announcing the launch of the Moto Z3, the company has revealed that it has no plans to bring the anticipated Moto Z3 Force. Just as expected, all previous Moto Mods will be compatible with the flagship Moto Z3. The 5G Moto Mod will be available later. We're now in Chicago awaiting to see a hardware demo.
