Ben Roethlisberger was being checked for a possible concussion Tuesday, after taking a hit in practice that led to the Steelers quarterback lying on the ground while clutching his head.

The Steelers later announced that Roethlisberger is being evaluated for a concussion. He was attended to by trainers before heading to the locker room.

The NFL has new rules in place on how balls are monitored following the "Deflategate" incident of a few years ago, when the Patriots were found to have deflated some balls during the AFC Championship Game.
