School supplies: $20 or less per item.

According to the Florida Department of Revenue, Florida's tax holiday will begin this Friday and continue through Sunday. In April, Gov. Scott Walker used a partial veto to extend the period to five days. Unlike past year, however, the sales tax doesn't apply to computers. Computers must be purchased for personal use and must cost $750 or less. People may purchase far more goods than usual on the holiday, but they tend to wait until those dates to shop, making business slower between the tax exemptions.

Customers do not need to be a student or have a student to participate in the sales.

Over the weekend, people across the state of MS hit the racks for Tax Free Weekend.

For clothing, the price of the item must be $75 or under. "So, you can definitely save more this weekend".

Missouri: (August 3-5) Clothing & footwear under $100, computers under $1,500, school supplies under $50, graphing calculators under $150. And if you aren't heading back to school and just want to do some personal shopping, that's OK, too. If an item qualifies for the exemption under the "sales tax holiday", then all delivery charges associated with that sale are exempt.

The tax-free weekend offers great savings on hundreds of items, but not everything is exempt, such as watches, radios, CD players, headphones, and sporting equipment.
