Sevilla confirm that they have re-signed Aleix Vidal from Barcelona on a four-year contract.

The 28-year-old headed back to his native Catalunya in 2015 after one productive season at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

"The clubs reached agreement on the transfer late on Friday evening". Sevilla FC will pay FC Barcelona 8.5 million euros, plus 2m in variables.

"The agreement is for the next three seasons and is pending the medical examination that the player will undertake over the course of the next few days".
