Fahrenheit 11/9: first trailer for Michael Moore's Trump documentary

Michael Moore has his inquisitive sights trained firmly on exploring the radical state of Donald Trump's America in the trailer for his new documentary Fahrenheit 11/9.

Here's the exclusive trailer for Michael Moore's (@MMFlint) newest documentary "Fahrenheit 11/9".

While Trump's election in 2016 is the obvious pivot for the trailer, the documentary appears to explore a broader raft of issues which the United States is tackling.

Following its TIFF premiere, "Fahrenheit 11/9" will land in theatres September 21. "That all ends with this movie".

Moore told the Huffington Post that the president is an evil maniacal menace, who aims to remain at the helm of the country for the rest of his life.

Suspected Russian spy found working in US embassy in Moscow
The security office found the woman was having regular, unauthorized meetings with the Russian intelligence service, the FSB. The woman was dismissed last summer after the state department revoked her security clearance.

Like "Fahrenheit 9/11", which tackled the impact of George W. Bush's presidency on society, Moore appears to be using this movie to present how Donald Trump's presidency happened and what it could mean for the US further down the line.

"Our media has no idea what it is up against, he said".

There's even a moment where Moore decides to spray down a governor's home with contaminated water from Flint, Michigan, which is now over 1,300 days without clean water.

Moore, an Academy Award-winning director, is helming the film.

Moore has previously said Trump will win the next presidential election in 2020 but speaking to chat show host Bill Maher in June, he said: "I'm finishing my movie and getting it out before the midterms because I want millions of people to get to the polls". His documentary Bowling for Columbine, about the horrific shooting at Columbine High School in 1999, is a hot take on gun culture and ease of obtaining weapons in our country, and it earned him the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature in 2003. "Hope, and the passivity that comes with it, is what helped get us here to begin with".
