Green, the Cincinnati Bengals' star, put on a show for the "Thursday Night Football" fans tuning in. Ravens QB Joe Flacco had a strong game, going 25-for-34 for 236 yards and three touchdowns.

Offensively, the Ravens have to be concerned about their offensive line.

It's week two of the season, but this game already holds plenty of value. Then they must demonstrate, beginning next month, that they can challenge the Steelers, who have beaten the Bengals six consecutive times and in nine of their last 10 meetings.

But the Ravens could have kept it closer in the first half if it weren't for their propensity to shoot themselves in the foot. The veteran pass-rusher made it a long night for Bengals right tackle Bobby Hart, and when he wasn't beating Hart into the pocket, he was batting down passes at the line of scrimmage. Flacco was sacked on each of Baltimore's first three possessions, and he forced a throw that was picked off, setting up the first of Dalton's three touchdown passes to A.J. Green.

The Ravens switched up their coverage on Green but couldn't stop him in the opening half.

"John is a different type of player, just with his speed and what he does to defenders", Flacco said. Anyone who was able to sit down and watch all 60-minutes of this "game" would be able to tell you that Baltimore was nearly immediately outmatched by Cincinnati.

The big guys up front didn't score the points, but they had a big hand in the Bengals win. Dalton did have an interception earlier on in the game that was nearly taken back for a touchdown but he was able to make a good tackle on the defender to prevent him from scoring and recovered nicely for the remainder of the game.

White has evaluated all of these numbers, and while we can tell you he's leaning under, he has found a crucial x-factor for which side you should be all over in this one. The team is yet to win a playoff game with Lewis as its coach and Andy Dalton at quarterback. We simply don't know how good the Ravens were because the Bills were so bad.

It was the same days earlier against the Colts, when it appeared they were about to give up a go-ahead score late in the game. The defense got a jolt from an unlikely hero against the Colts.safety Clayton Fejedelem.

Why will the Bengals win?

The Ravens are 7-1 under Harbaugh in short-week Thursday games, and their Week 1 blowout helped them rest a few veterans.

What's clear is they have the talent to be competitive, thanks to a stout defensive line, a bevy of targets for Dalton and the running back duo of Mixon and Giovani Bernard. "He came in and we didn't miss a beat". While Vontaze Burfict is still serving his four-game suspension, Preston Brown is inactive for the game after entering the day questionable to play due to an ankle injury.

However, the Bengals' lapses are certainly cause for concern, especially with a hard schedule looming.

The Bengals will have to find a way to make up for the absence of a pair of key linebackers. "We've still got that bitter taste in our mouths".
