In a statement Sunday, the advocates say they were inspired by the Time's Up initiative, which launched Monday with the backing of hundreds of Hollywood women, like Streep, Reese Witherspoon and Shonda Rhimes.
"Each of us will be highlighting legislative, community-level and interpersonal solutions that contribute to ending violence against women in all our communities, ' the advocates" statement said Sunday.
"Farmworker women have been standing up and speaking out against sexual violence in the workplace for decades", she said in a statement. We look forward to partnering with them and others to organize, support all survivors, and find solutions that ensure a future where all women and all people can live and work with dignity.
Susan Sarandon will bring Rosa Clemente, an organiser, political commentator and journalist who campaigns for media justice and voter engagement among youth of colour. Larasi, executive director of Imkaan, will attend with Watson.
