First Amazon Alexa-Enabled Digital Glasses to Be Shown at CES
The company has announced a new "Alexa Mobile Accessory Kit" that will allow hardware manufacturers to integrate Alexa with wearable products like headphones and smartwatches. Thus, Amazon introduced a host of Alexa compatible electronics such as the Amazon Fire TV, Ecobee4 Smart Thermostat, and even the Ecobee Smart Light Switch.
The inclusion of Alexa on a non-Amazon product is not a first, though, as past year the smart assistant debuted on the HTC U11, Huawei Mate 9, and Motorola Z series smartphones. To take advantage of Alexa's capabilities on the AR smartglasses, a wearer needs to be an Amazon subscriber. These include Bose, Jabra, iHome, Linkplay, Sugr, Librewireless, Beyerdynamic, Bowers, and Wilkins.

However, these devices won't come with Alexa built in and will rather connect to the Alexa app via Bluetooth.
