Auburn OL coach Herb Hand leaving for Texas

Gus Malzahn's Auburn program gained a ton of momentum late in the year after a relatively slow start to the season, leaving hopes high that 2018 could be a special season if the Tigers can carry over that momentum into the offseason.

Texas head coach Tom Herman appears to have picked up a big name for his Longhorns team, as Brett McMurphy - formerly of ESPN - reported on Tuesday that Auburn offensive line coach Herb Hand will be heading to Texas. Hand is apparently being given a promotion to co-offensive coordinator at OL coach in Austin. While at Penn State, Hand's offensive line blocked for Saquon Barkley as he set the Penn State freshman rushing record.
