AUSTRALIAN ACTOR CRAIG McLachlan, best known for playing Henry Ramsay in Neighbours, has been accused of sexual misconduct by three women.

McLachlan, who has described the allegations as "made up", is now on tour in Adelaide starring in a new Rocky Horror production.

The former Neighbours and Home and Away star is accused of exposing himself to one cast member, kissing another without consent, and pulling down a cast member's underpants during a performance and kissing her bottom.

The actresses, Christie Whelan Browne, Erika Heynatz and Angela Scundi, said they had come forward to protect cast members of a new production of The Rocky Horror Show featuring Mr McLachlan, which premiered on New Year's Eve.

ABC reports that the women were working with McLachlan during the hit Rocky Horror Picture Show musical in 2014 when the assaults allegedly took place.

One of the victims recalled being assaulted on stage during the musical, suggesting that McLachlan also made lewd comments. But he would always kiss down my breasts and continue to kiss all the way down until I would have to sort of move and wriggle away.

She said when she confronted him about the unwanted kiss, he abused and threatened her.

"I said, "Don't you kiss me".

Chain crash on 91 Freeway in Corona closes lanes, jams traffic
The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that involved several vehicles early Friday afternoon on Highway 99. There were five people in the Dodge - three women and two men who were not identified.

Two of the women said they complained to senior production staff at the time but said nothing was done.

"Craig McLachlan is leaving The Rocky Horror Show until issues are resolved". Both Ten and the ABC both said that they had not received any complaints of inappropriate behavior by McLachlan.

Victoria police have confirmed they are investigating.

In a statement, GFO said managing director John Frost was not available for an interview and the company declined to make any comment on the record. "We will be conducting a full internal investigation and will cooperate fully with authorities".

The Gordon Frost Organization said separately that it was shocked to learn of the allegations and Monday mutually agreed with McLachlan that it was not appropriate for him to continue in the current production of the show.

"While we clearly can not comment on the details of this particular case, sexual assault in any form is unacceptable, and we will work diligently within this industry to support the right of all people to be protected in the workplace, and stand by those who are victims of inappropriate behaviour". She said that during a sex scene with McLachlan he went off-script, making the scene more sexual, as well as making sexually explicit comments about her genitalia.

"However, in the light of these allegations December Media will temporarily hold production preparations for the new series to allow due process".
