Acer Swift 7 world’s thinnest notebook finds room for 4G LTE
Acer has also launched the updated versions of Nitro 5 and Spin 3. The company announced the computer, which can last up to 10 hours with a single charge, at CES 2018.
Of the four, the Swift 7 is believed to be the "world's thinnest laptop". Acer also revealed availability for the Switch 7 Black Edition and Predator Orion 9000 Series, which were both unveiled at IFA previous year.
"We're extremely proud to make the world's thinnest laptop even thinner with the new Swift 7", said Jerry Kao, President of IT Products Business of Acer Inc. while commenting on the launch. It is equipped with a powerful 8th Gen Intel Core processor and impressive storage options.
The IPS display comes in the form of a 14-inch Corning Gorilla Glass touchscreen that boasts narrow bezels and a full HD resolution.
Windows 10 is running the show, as expected, and the laptop will get you up to 10 hours of battery life according to Acer.

Acer also introduced its updated model gaming laptop - the Nitro 5, which has a 15.6-inch screen with 1080p resolution.
Primarily designed for gamers, the Nitro 5 has got a major upgrade, featuring the AMD Radeon RX560 graphics and AMD Ryzen mobile processors. It also includes the Nitro Sense GPU/CPU monitoring software, which provides real-time metrics for those components.
The Acer Spin 3 will be available in North America in February with prices starting at US$ 599; and in EMEA in January with prices starting at Euro 649.
The new Acer Swift 7 laptop comes with a powerful Intel Core i7 processor, all-day battery life and a personal, trusted 4G LTE connection. The laptop has the 360-degree hinge that allows functionality in four different modes. It provides up to 12 hours of battery life for digital work and play on the move, with two front-facing speakers with Acer TrueHarmony technology.
As you might expect, the "World's Thinnest Laptop" doesn't come cheap, starting at $1699 for the base configuration with availability set to begin in March. It has 14-inch display which supports vivid imagery in Full HD with IPS technology. The device sports the latest Intel Celeron processors, 4GB of memory and 16GB or 32GB of eMMC storage. It is available with touch or non-touch display and comes with Google Play support at launch. One of the more interesting and unexpected items is the newly redesigned Acer Swift 7 notebook.
