Marvel has also released a new synopsis for the film, offering some new details on what we can expect in Scott and Hope's latest adventure.
Hope's mother, Janet van Dyne, was a founding member of the Avengers in her Marvel Comics incarnation, and even named the super group when it was first formed. Over the past several months, we've seen the character in costume through set photos, but today, Disney released an official image from the film with the two characters standing side-by-side. Whether this means new powers come with the updated look or if the aesthetic will just err on the side of Spider-Man's minimalism remains to be seen, but these heroes will turn up in Infinity War first. Ant-Man and The Wasp stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Peña and Academy Award victor Michael Douglas, who all return in their original roles.
