The report states that Trump's day begins at 8 a.m., but that he conducts business from his private residence in the White House rather than the Oval Office.
The president's private schedule, obtained by Jonathan Swan of Axios, revealed Trump often starts his official day as late as 11 a.m., and is holding far fewer meeting than he once did - "largely to meet [his] demands for more 'Executive Time, ' which nearly always means TV and Twitter time alone in the residence", officials said.
Trump has previously denied spending up to eight hours a day watching television. He says Trump is usually back in his residence by 6pm.
The schedule is vastly different from the official one handed out to journalists, which suggests Trump's day begins with executive time at 8am. He then has "Executive Time" for an hour followed by an hour lunch in the private dining room.
On Tuesday, for instance, Trump's day will last from 11 a.m.to 4:15 p.m.

Former WTO, Goldman chief Peter Sutherland dies at 71
He was appointed as Attorney General in June 1981 at the age of just 35 becoming the youngest person to ever hold the position. He also served as director-general of the World Trade Organisation and was a former chairman of Goldman Sachs International.
He needs big blocks of "Executive Time" to make it though the day.
Trump reportedly arrives in the Oval Office for his intelligence briefing at 11 a.m., his first meeting of the day. Even close White House officials admit, Swan said, that this means the president will be watching TV and using Twitter "alone in the residence".
Trump' schedule hasn't always been so brief - in the beginning of his term - it began earlier and ended later. "The President is one of the hardest workers I've ever seen and puts in long hours and long days almost every day of the week all year long", she wrote, presumably with a straight face. "It has been noted by reporters many times that they wish he would slow down because they sometimes have trouble keeping up with him", she said in a statement to Axios.
Trump routinely watches a host of cable news networks, starting his mornings off with CNBC's "Squawk Box", Fox Business Network's "Mornings With Maria" which is hosted by Maria Bartiromo, and Fox News's "Fox and Friends".
Donald Trump has one of the most important jobs in the world but he doesn't quite put in the time, according to reports.
