German police searching 10 suspected Iranian agents said 'spying on Israelis'
The German magazine Focus, which first reported on the searches, said that the 10 individuals were suspected members of the al-Quds Brigade, the external operations arm of the powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC).
Citing Focus, a German online magazine, Weinthal reported that the ten individuals being sought are considered unsafe because the Qods Force employs "killer teams for Iran's secret service [and] for the Palestinian terrorist organization, Hamas".
A Berlin court sentenced 31-year-old Syed-Naqfi in March to four years and three months in prison for working for Iran's intelligence service to spy "against Germany and another North Atlantic Treaty Organisation member".
Ten Iranian agents who were reportedly spying on Israeli targets were arrested on Tuesday in Germany.
A Quds Force-affiliated agent pleaded guilty in 2012 to plotting to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington, DC.
Last April, federal prosecutors filed charges against two men suspected of spying on the opposition People's Mujahedin of Iran (MEK) on behalf of Iranian intelligence, Deutsche Welle reported. His targets included Reinhold Robbe, who headed the German-Israeli Association.

The Paris-based MEK is an Islamist-Marxist-feminist militant group seeking to overthrow Iran's theocratic government. The NGO Stop the Bomb urged the German government last week to abandon its pro-Iran regime policies and show unconditional solidarity with the protestors calling for an end to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The MEK has also been accused of carrying out covert operations on behalf of Israel and the United States.
