Bandai Namco has announced a new game called New Gundam Breaker, which is in development for PlayStation 4 and is set to launch at some point in 2018. It will see players "breaking" enemy Gunpla, "collecting" their parts, and using those collected parts to "build" their own Gundam to fight with.
"For generations, GUNDAM fans in the Americas have collected, constructed, and displayed Gunpla models in their homes". There's also a new real-time customization system that lets you collect and add parts on the battlefield. The previous title, Gundam Breaker 3, was released for PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2016 and received a DLC that expanded the story with more model kits to boot. You can even enter a mission without any parts so that your unit looks like a Real Grade Gunpla frame.

Bandai Namco Europe has released a trailer (embedded above) that states 2018, so we assume it's coming to North America and Europe this year as well as Japan. It turns out to be a new Gundam Breaker game, but instead of Gundam Breaker 4, it is aptly titled New Gundam Breaker. It releases in Japan and Southeast Asia in 2018.
Unfortunately, the livestream didn't go into much detail beyond that, but Bandai Namco did promise that it will be featured in a dedicated livestream on January 28 at 17:00 JST (3 a.m. EST/12 a.m. PST).
