The pop star P!nk will perform the national anthem at the Super Bowl this year, following a recent resurgence on the music charts with the October release of her latest album, 'Beautiful Trauma'.

Pink will sing the national anthem prior to kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, the league announced.

"I'm really looking forward to 2018", Pink tweeted.

Pink is to perform the USA national anthem before the 2018 Super Bowl. "I'm really excited about the Grammys".

While Minnesota Vikings fans are hoping purple will be the dominant color of Super Bowl LII, the game will start with some Pink. Pink dropped her latest, "Beautiful Trauma", in October, while Timberlake is set to unveil, "Man of the Woods", on February 2. Timberlake makes his return to Super Bowls stage after his controversial performance with Janet Jackson in 2004.
