Norway's Marit Bjørgen produced a dominant performance to claim the final gold medal of the 2018 PyeongChang games.
Bjoergen, the most decorated Winter Olympian of all time, broke early and kept up a relentless pace to finish nearly two minutes ahead of silver medalist Krista Parmakoski of Finland, with Stina Nilsson taking the bronze for Sweden.
Bjoergen became the most successful Winter Olympian of all time earlier in the Games, when she finished third in the team sprint free.

Bjørgen continued to power away at the front, and continued to add to her lead, eventually coming home in a time of one hour, 22 minutes and 17 seconds to add to her historic Olympic career.

Diggins and Kikkan Randall, her team sprint teammate, depart PyeongChang as the first American women cross-country skiers to win an Olympic medal.
