On Sunday, Singapore took delivery of Boeing's latest Dreamliner variant, the 787-10.
Singapore Airlines (SIA) welcomed the world's first and biggest variant of Boeing's Dreamliner 787 widebody aircraft -- the 787-10 on Wednesday, as it arrived in Changi airport in Singapore from Boeing's production facility in North Charleston South Carolina.
SIA is also the first airline in the world to offer a series of games from Toca Boca and Sago Mini on KrisWorld.
Singapore Airlines has unveiled the next generation of its regional cabin products that will be fitted on its new Boeing 787-10 fleet set to be used on flights of up to eight hours.
"The 787-10 is a magnificent piece of engineering and truly a work of art", says Mr. Goh Choon Phong, chief executive officer of Singapore Airlines, the 787-10 launch customer.

The new 787-10 now accounts for 13% of orders for the range, however the 787-9 remains the most popular, competing predominantly with the European company Airbus's new-gen carbon-composite A350-a jet of similar carrying capacity and range. Osaka and Perth will be the first scheduled destinations to be served by the new aircraft, from May 2018.
In addition to the 49 firm-ordered 787-10s, Singapore Airlines has a firm order with Boeing for 20 777-9s, which are due for delivery from the 2021/22 financial year. However, what makes this aircraft unique is that it features a longer fuselage which allows it to carry about 40 more passengers or a total of 330 seats in a standard two-class configuration.
The aircraft will also be flown on select services regionally to Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok for crew training purposes.
Senior Vice President (Sales-Asia Pacific and India) The Boeing Company, Dinesh A Keskar, in his short interaction with newsmen during the arrival ceremony said that Boeing's proposed New Mid-market Airplanes (NMA) would be the more super efficient airplanes than the one which are flying today. The guest of honour for this event will be Khaw Boon Wan, Singapore's Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Minister for Transport.
