Expect highs in the mid 50s. Again look for increasing wind, rain and snow heading into Saturday. Early next week will be cooler than normal as well with highs in the mid to upper 30s from Monday through Wednesday.

And heralding a spell of good weather, to make up for all the rain, wind and snow we have endured for months, research excitingly titled the Pimms Summer Forecast brings good news.

Wednesday will start dry before rain develops for Denver and the Front Range in the afternoon.

A weather chart reveals there will be more snow in Britain over the Easter weekend, with much of Scotland and the north of England to bear the brunt of the wintery weather.

Easter traffic is expected to peak on Thursday and Friday with Scots warned to brace themselves for a wet and windy weekend.

Easter Sunday's forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of showers, otherwise it'll be partly sunny, the weather service said.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance for evening rain showers turning to snow overnight. Temperatures could be chilly enough for a mixture of snow in some of our northern counties late Saturday night. They will be short-lived, and Sunday afternoon should be cloudy, but comfortable, with highs in the upper 60s.

It is likely that snow will fall in Scotland on Wednesday - with outbreaks of rain turning to snow over the Scottish mountains. We'll have to keep an eye out for the risk of freezing temperatures too.
