A Brand New Weapon is Coming to Fortnite: Battle Royale
This might look familiar to the burst variant of the game's normal Assault Rifle, but the appearance of the new gun should be enough to show that it's a different weapon entirely. The assault rifle with scope still has yet to receive an epic and legendary weapon, as well as the submachine gun.
While a Burst Assault Rifle already exists in Fortnite: Battle Royale, the differences in design and rarity indicate that this is a complete new weapon.

Then there's the actual ranged and close-up attacks, which we have to say look fantastic. It will probably still have the same 3-shot burst and take medium ammo but we'll be able to tell you for certain tomorrow. The downtime usually doesn't last very long so you shouldn't have to wait around too long. This means a new set of weekly challenges happen two days earlier which is nice if you're craving more Fortnite. While most people are calling up Epic Games about their issues, some people are calling up a shop in OH that has an unfortunately similar name to the developers of Fortnite. The guided rocket launcher, smoke grenade and crossbow have all been removed from the game.
Taking all of this into consideration, it will be interesting to see if Fortnite ever does bring back its Thanos-centric Infinity Gauntlet mode, as it will have a justifiable reason to do so next year with the followup to Avengers: Infinity War scheduled for theatrical release in 2019. It's hard to believe anyone actually predicted this event but it was certainly a pleasant surprise.
