Alabama softball seeded 12th, will host regional
The Big Ten tournament didn't go exactly like the Ohio State softball team wanted, but it will now get another chance to make good on a season with missed opportunities.
The Bison have a 9-16 record in the NCAA Tournament, including winning the Oklahoma Regional in 2009.
This marks the eighth time in school history the Gamecocks have hosted a regional and the first time since 2002 the Gamecocks have been the top-seeded team.
