Replacing the outgoing V12-engined DB11 as the new flagship of the range, the auto includes greater power and increased performance together with a suite of exterior and interior enhancements.

The DB11 AMR was revealed at the opening of the recently-renovated Aston Martin Nurburgring Test Centre at the Norschelife circuit in Germany, which now goes by AMR Performance Centre.
Aston Martin has dialled-up James Bond's preffered ride.
The DB11 AMR includes twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12, which can develop 630bhp with a torque of 700Nm and a 0-62mph time of 3.7 seconds.
The dynamics team also gave it a more authoritative exhaust note, revised the shift calibration of the eight-speed automatic transmission and firmed up the suspension to reduce body roll and give the DB11 AMR an extra edged - although chief engineer Matt Becker insists it's still a Gran Turismo, rather than a track-day special. Top speed grows to 208 miles per hour (335 kph) - 8 miles per hour (13 kph) faster than the regular DB11 V12.

Aston Martin claims that the DB11 AMR is more engaging to drive, too. On the outside, all brightwork has been given a monochrome treatment, in addition to other dark elements such as the headlight surrounds, front grille, tailpipes, gloss black roof, and smoked taillights.
The dark theme continues inside, with monotone leather and alcantara upholstery and a contrasting central lime stripe.
The AMR-spec DB11 will be available with limited edition Signature Edition.
With extensive carbon fibre detailing on the exterior, the inside is equally striking, with Dark Knight leather and Lime detailing, plus Satin Dark Chrome switchgear and Satin Carbon Fibre trim.
The DB11 AMR launches this summer for a base price of $241,000 in the United States.
