Knife attack on pedestrians kills one in Paris
French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian commented on the statement of Chechnya's leader Ramzan Kadyrov, who spoke about the man from the republic who had attacked passers-by with a knife in Paris. The attacker stabbed random people shouting "Allah Akbar!".
French media report the victim killed in the attack was a 29-year-old man identified only by his first name, Ronan, who was living in the 13th district of Paris.
It was the latest in a succession of attacks in France since January 2015 in which more than 240 people have died.

"We heard someone shout and then a woman screamed 'run inside!' We ran inside and hid under the table", said Klibbe, who teaches English in Paris. She said she went outside to see what happened and "I saw a guy lying on the ground".
