Maradona hired at Belarusian club
"I am president of the club, Dynamo Brest", Maradona said in an Instagram post on Tuesday, reports EFE news agency.
Maradona, who most recently managed UAE second-division side Fujairah, will be taking over football operations.
Today, Diego Maradona signed a contract with FC Dynamo Brest.
Confirming the appointment on social media, Brest tweeted: "Yes, Diego is with us". Fujairah clinched a place in the top flight earlier this week by coming through a play-off with Hatta.
His first game will be big one, too, as Dinamo are set to face giants BATE in the Belarusian Cup final this weekend.
