The town of Lake Worth sent out an alert Sunday warning residents about power outages caused by "extreme zombie activity". "Restoration time uncertain." For anyone who watches The Walking Dead, the "Terminus" joke in the notification is immediately discernable. The official authorities had on television to refute the alarm: "In lake worth no activity zombies now, and we apologize for system message". "There are now far less than seven-thousand-three-hundred-eighty customers involved due to extreme zombie activity", the alert states.

While Florida is known for producing some pretty interesting headlines, it almost introduced another VERY concerning headline to the world over the weekend, after residents reported they'd received alerts warning them of a zombie invasion. According to local reports, the city hadn't yet gotten to the bottom of the mystery of how zombies ended up getting a mention in the first place.
