Roseville Gas Prices Driving Higher
Gas prices have gone up 17 cents since last month, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 5,345 gas outlets in Ohio.
Gasoline prices, which generally follow oil prices, have jumped to a national average of $2.81 a gallon, according to AAA.
AAA Oklahoma Spokesperson Leslie Gamble attributes the increase to supply and demand as well as the White House's decision to re-impose sanctions on Iran.
For the first time since late 2014, the price of gas went above $3 a gallon in Branch County Monday.
The entire country has seen gas prices rise in the last week to a national average of $2.87 a gallon after the price of crude oil hit $71 a barrel which is the highest price for crude since 2014. By comparison though, the average price of gas during this time of year in 2013 was $3.42 per gallon. Woodward now averages about $2.60 per gallon.
