5-year-old son of fallen Terre Haute officer shares message for his dad

Officer Pitts was a 16-year member of the Terre Haute Police Department following six years with the police force in the nearby city of Sullivan, where he lived and was buried.

Governor Eric Holcomb tweeted his condolences to Pitts' family. "Blood doesn't always make family, but I think the "Blue Family" went above and beyond", said Kelli Jones, Rob Pitts' sister.
A vigil for the fallen officer was held that Sunday evening at the Sullivan Indiana Courthouse.
