If this is going to be the case, the U.S. abrogation of its commitment to the deal would make little difference at the end of the day, as long as Iran and other parties to the deal remain committed to it.

"We are seriously concerned about the decision of the USA administration to withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), thereby committing a significant violation of Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 2231", Lavrov said, referring to the deal by its official name.
